Workgroup III: The Residency and Fellowship workgroup will review currently available standards for a variety of residency and fellowship experiences available to pharmacists. Specifically, model language will be drafted for presentation to the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacy for inclusion into postgraduate year one residency accreditation. Additionally, current standards for postgraduate year two residencies (pain and palliative care, geriatrics, oncology, ambulatory care, primary care, internal medicine, etc.) will be reviewed and model language will be recommended. Standards for pharmacy pain and palliative care fellowships will be drafted as well.
