Workgroup VI: The Pharmacist Credentialing in Pain and Palliative Care workgroup will identify credentialing opportunities for pharmacists who practice in pain and palliative care. The group also will explore and determine recommendations for the ideal methods for which to credential pharmacists in these key areas.
Organizations that have been asked to send representation to this workgroup will include the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Pain Educators, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
